Outing with classmates/ Cycling with Hafiz/Supper with KBoys

29th December 2008
Went out with some of my classmates which is my clique in school. Supposed to meet at Bugis at 6pm. It turns out that everyone is late. I was kinda late but by a few minutes. Then after everyone came, we were hungry and head down to Tong Seng. The food is good, especially the Chicken Rice. After that planned to go for SHISHA and off we go to Haji Lane. Had lots of fun! We chat and make jokes to entertain each other. So plan to do this outing because next week will be starting school. So might as well spend some time together before school reopens.


30th December 2008
Woke up around 10 plus. Was so bored that I don't know what to do. So called up Hafiz for a cycling session. Cycled to his house met him, pump my tyre and off we go. I was hungry so cycled to Kembangan and ate at a coffee shop. After out lunch, Hafiz wanted to cycle to East Coast Park and off we go. Was quite fun to cycle around Singapore and it's also tiring. Reached East Coast park, then Hafiz wanted to explore the very end of East Cost Park to see whether is there a route to Changi. While on our way there's this long road where we have a view of the airport and see planes take off. The wind was so cooling. Finally reached Changi, WOW! What an achievement it was. Sat down at Changi Beach and had some refreshments. Was kinda hurry because I was supposed to meet Fauzi later. Quickly cycled back home. I was shocked because it feels like we spend lesser time going back than going there. So weird.


After I reached home, wash up and met Fauzi, Khai and Wayne. Fauzi picked me up from my house and head off to SP to pick up Izzat and Ogy. Head down to SIMPANG BEDOK to have our supper. Ate and talked and finally head home. Was a tiring and enjoying day for me. My butt hurts because I sat too long on the bicycle but the adventure was worth it.

OBOG K.L Trip 2008

Hey guys! I'm back from K.L on Monday. Did not update straight after I got back because I was too tired. Not enough sleep during the trip even though my hotel bed is very nice. It's because I was enjoying myself every night and sleeping late. The trip was VERY FUN! and a very MEMORABLE one too. Get to know new friends from PJ Youth Band. They are very good. They are something like OBOG but they have been together for around 40 years?. And also get to know more of people in OBOG.

The 1st day was the best day of my life. It was the most challenging thing I have ever done. We had to go through this obstacle course. Which includes climbing, jumping, and using your flexibility. And of the scariest thing that I did was to cross this long bridge and it's very high. It's not exactly easy as you think. Because the steps is very small. And then, the BEST part was the FLYING FOX!. It was super fun! Had our dinner and checked in our hotel. The hotel was good!

2nd day, we went to SUNWAY LAGOON. Never really had the chance to go through the rides as some of them are close. I managed to take 2 rides, and it was damn scary. I felt like puking after the rides is over. Sheesh. Head back to the hotel and changed. And headed off to the concert hall itself. Had rehearsals with the PJ Youth. Getting to know each other was nice. Rehearsed all the X'mas songs and called it a day.

3rd day was the concert day itself. Rehearsed the songs that OBOG going to play by ourselves and some X'mas songs before the concert. Headed down back to the hotel to get changed and get ready for the concert. Had dinner at Kenny Rogers with the KBoys. Our tummy was bloated and we headed down to the concert hall for our performance. The performance turned out to be quite good as we don't really break down. And I should say the K.L performance was more successful than the OBOG concert. But OBOG still have room for improvements. Enjoyed the concert. Took some pictures and shook hands with them. After that had our supper but I didn't really eat.

The 4th and 5th day was not really exciting as the first few days because spend a lot of my time doing nothing even though it was shopping time. But the trip to the CHOCOLATE FACTORY was good. Even though I didn't really buy anything. But shared with the guys to buy TIRAIMISU chocolate. It was really GOOD!. And the last day we went tour to MELAKA and had our history lessons with Mr. Francis our tour guide for the trip. KBoys was the one who make the whole trip HAPPENING!. I'm glad that I'm back in Singapore as I somehow miss my family and friends here.

Hope that there's still upcoming trips for OBOG. I'm glad that I am back safely and really enjoyed myself. I shall end my post here for now. And last but not least,

OBOG Concert!

Finally OBOG concert has ended. It turned not too good and not too bad. But at least it's over. It's the first concert for OBOG. But there's still room for improvements. Even though I've performed for a few years, I will always be nervous on stage. Sweating like nobody business. Well here are some pictures that I took after the concert. BEG Phast Test

Hey there people. Anyway I just want to make this post a short one as I need to study for my test tomorrow. This is the last week of school and I feel quite relieved because I finished all my projects last week. Just hoping that I get good grades for it. Concert is coming this THURSDAY! And I feel quite excited and nervous at the same time. Well I'm gonna upload some pictures for the BEG phase test last week. Enjoy! (:

Life Is Full of Surprises!

Went for a jog around 6 plus? At BEDOK RESERVOIR. Then, I was shocked by someone who I don't expect to see. Here's what happened. I was stretching before I go my jog. So when I started jogging as per normal. I saw this lady from far and I don't really see her face until she was near me. And guess who I met while I was jogging? I SAW OLIVIA ONG! In case you have no idea who she is, she's a Singaporean artist who makes her album somewhere JAPAN I guess. And her voice is very sweet and melodious. Most of her music involves Jazz and Bossa Nova. You can try and listen to her songs on IMEEM.

I was so shocked and excited? So I told myself, I don't think it's her. Because I think she's not in Singapore or something. So I just continued jogging and hoping that I would get to meet her. So, what I was hoping came true AND this time, I really take a good look at here face. And YEAH! It's her. She looks totally BEAUTIFUL! and very HOT! haha! I'm not trying to be a pervert you know. It's just my opinion. She has the very ASIAN look. I really HOPE! to meet her again soon. Maybe this time I'm going to ask her AUTOGRAPH and get a picture or something?. Haha!

So guys, if you want to meet her. Maybe you guys can try your luck and go BEDOK RESERVOIR for a jog around 6?. I'm not trying to be a pervert or stalker here. Just that I felt excited and shocked because I get to meet one of my favourite singer.

Not going to believe me? Who knows? Believe it or not? But I'm sure it's her.

What's the future?

BEO unit 3 test was today, and I didn't really study. I also missed the lesson when they went through unit 3. But luckily my "BRO LURP", Faizal helped me by giving me some answers. Heh! But I don't think the whole class study. I don't really like BEO because there's too many things to memorise.



My everyday life has been quite wonderful I guess. Looking forward for upcoming events example like my OBOG Concert, Hari Raya Haji and Christmas (even though I don't celebrate it). Left with 29 more days till it's the end of the year. Time has passed so fast like everything just happened yesterday. I still remembered saying GOODBYE 2007 and HELLO 2008. And now it's like GOODBYE 2008 and HELLO 2009. It's coming very very very soon. What's up for me next year? Is something good going to happen? Can't really see the future.



Need to finish all my projects very soon!!!. I can't wait for holidays! Shall update again soon.

Projects and more projects

Hey guys! Recently I've been catching up with my projects due to this week. Finally some of the projects have been cleared. What a RELIEF!. But still need to finish up my FLASH project and it's a KILLER! for 1 scene of flash you can spend 2 hours. Need to finish it up by this Wednesday. Hopefully I would be able to finish everything by then. OBOG concert is coming really soon! The practice today was not bad. It's getting there I guess.

HAVE YOU GUYS TRIED THE BURGER KING'S OWN "BALSSY BURGER?" WHICH HAS 4 PATTIES IN THE BURGER?


Well last week after OBOG practice, the KBoys, Nina and Pauline went to IMM Burger King. Hazizi was so hungry, so he tried the BALLSY BURGER! He dared me, Wayne and OGY to have the same thing as him. But it's quite EXPENSIVE for us. It's like the whole meal cost around $10. Wayne and Izzat ordered DOUBLE WHOOPER!!. Take a look at the video below and see it for yourself. HAH!



2 more practices till OBOG concert. Somehow excited and feeling a little nervous. Better start selling tickets. I can't wait to finish and hand up all my projects! Kept me thinking about it all the time. I can't wait for HOLIDAYS! I envy the Secondary School kids as they are having their holidays now.

My holidays will start on the 3rd week of December what a pain in the butt. ITE holidays is just 3 weeks and then school reopens. So pathetic right?. Well less complain and study harder. Trying my best to cope with studies. Business Event Organisation has alot of things to memorise. But it's quite fun learning how to organise Business Events or any other events.

HAPPY 17th BIRTHDAY TO MYSELF! (:

WHAT A DAY!

Well today was the performance for the COMBINED BAND which includes SHUQUN, HOUGANG and REGENT Band.
I performed together with them, and it's a very nice experience. Especially when I get to perform but not playing saxophone but percussion instead. Here are some pictures of the KBoys backstage as we were to bored. I really enjoy playing with the combined band. Nice one! Congrats guys!

A small NOTE and also a MONKEY! haha! Never those kind of stuff before though. But I really liked it from THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART! haha! Cheh!. And NOT forgetting the Hougang saxophonist who gave me a present too. Thanks guys! (:


After the performance and all the pictures taken, we were very hungry so decided to have our "SUPPER" at Mac. And here's Khai and his MEGA MAC! WOW!!!! 100% BEEF! LOL!

And now a post for myself, finally I'm 17 years old. One more year to go and I will be eighteen. I still have many more months to go reach there. Goodbye 16 and hello 17!. There are so much good memories and bad. So let's start a fresh! What could possibly going to happen?. I have no clue myself. And I would like THANK ALLAH! for a year older because without HIM I won't be in this world. Alhamdullilah. Anyway, last and but not least.

Jean Yves Formeau Masterclass

Last Saturday, went for Jean Yves Formeau Masterclass. Just for your info, he's a Professional French Saxophonist. So without hesitating, I took part in it. But the money is all worth it. It's an opportunity thats very hard to come by.

I've learned alot from him, from musically wise to technique wise. He's a great player because it's like everything he plays just run very smoothly. I've learned about how to understand Bach Cello Suite.


Went for his Piano & Saxophone concert that night and his technique is SUPERB! what do you expect? that's why he's a professional. He's one of my role models and there's quite a number more too. It's a once in a lifetime opportunity to have masterclass with him and I grabbed that. I enjoyed myself and he makes me want to practice harder.

Someday hopefully I want to be somebody like him?. But saying it without doing anything doesn't gets me anywhere. Starting it out slowly and hope it goes well. Birthday is coming soon in a week time. Do I need to be excited? Or just wont expect anything? As I usually celebrate it normally every year. Who knows? Shall update again soon. Chao!

Trapped inside

Days by days, weeks by weeks. Time flies so fast.
Everything just keep moving on.
And I sometimes wonder to myself, have I done something that is useful in my life?
Or maybe I've just been wasting my time all these while?
Do I have commitment in everything I do?



And the answer to that is _______ ?? who knows?
Sometimes I felt that I can commit more to certain things
And sometimes I felt that I can't commit to the things that I do.
So, what's the problem here? Is it myself or am I being lazy?



I wanna get things change but, saying the things that I wanna change without taking actions is USELESS!
Depends what type of things that I want to change in my life?
Is it in ACADEMIC? MUSIC? FRIENDS? MYSELF?
All these things that I want to change needs one thing.
Which is COMMITMENT!



Just saying what I want to change in life without doing anything is the same as doing nothing.
So, can I change myself?
Trying real hard to do it. But everytime there's this things that keep pulling me down.
How do I get rid of this emotions that trapped me and makes me stuck in the mud.

"JUST DO IT"

So Little Time Yet So Many Things To Do..

Just to clear out the dust in my blog and here I am to update.
Sorry for not updating my blog as I was quite busy and can't be bothered to update.
School has been quite okay and at a certain point it can be a PAIN IN THE NECK. Basically PROJECT has been piling on each other again and again.
And there's so much to do.
I don't know where to start though?

Band practice has always been keeping my time useful and also can be stressful.
Need to practice more and prepare myself for the upcoming concert in December.
I'm looking forward for the COMBINE concert on 20th November. And guess what?
I turn a year older on 21st November. Not gonna expect much.
But just wait and see I guess?

I'm preparing some pieces for my MASTERCLASS and I haven't really look it up that well. Gonna try to spend my time practicing.
But just can't find the place to.
If I start a NOTE at home and there's no doubt that people are going get mad because of me.
Wish that someone would build a soundproof room for me so that I can practice by my own.

Like what I've said, SO LITTLE TIME AND YET SO MANY THINGS TO DO.
Hopefully everything going to end soon and I want to get all the things done ASAP.

A Day at Seoul Garden

Hello peeps, today went out with some of the Kesian Boys and we went to eat SEOUL GARDEN as we are going to start school soon, so we decided to eat together before all of us getting busy with school.

Basically I was not really that hungry, but I just going to eat slowly. I remembered the last time ate buffet, I got fulled really fast as I ate too much and fast at the same time. So today was quite an "ACHIEVEMENT" because I did not get too full.

School is starting soon and I'm getting really excited about it. Going to have NEW MODULES! And I'm really looking forward to it. I have to learn POA, MULTIMEDIA DESKTOP PUBLISHING and BASIC PERSONAL GROOMING. WOO!

I need to prepare myself with SCALES and have to learn minor scales for me to go a step up. There's quite a number of things to work on. Going to try my best and do it. And I'm still unsure of what am I going to do after my NITEC.

1st Semester Results

Today just got my results, I guess I'm quite happy with it. I scored all of the modules "A" except for OFC. I got "B" for OFC. OFC = Office Communication. That module sure is a tough one to score, as you need to be very good with your English. My total GPA for Semester 1 is...*drumroll*...

GPA: 3.688

I guess that I've done a great job even though I didn't get GPA 4. Gonna strive my best to do well for the next semester.

Been spending my time at home as my family are not going out because my dad is working during weekdays. Will just be visiting on Saturday for Hari Raya.

Hari Raya 2008

Well today was the first day of Hari Raya 2008. And guess what? I felt really good and fresh. Started out in the morning by going to the Mosque for Hari Raya prayers. Finished around 8 45?. After that headed home to relax as I didn't get enough sleep because I was somehow helping out with the house. Just to make my living room a really "LIVING ENVIROMENT" if you know what I mean?.



Had my "BRUNCH" then after that watched TV until I got so tired that i fell asleep and slept on the couch. Was woken up by my 2nd brother with her wife as they came to my house. It's a tradition for us to visit the the elders first before going to other relatives houses. So, your PARENTS must come first or anyone that close to you and older than you.



Wash up everything get ready to go my grandma house. I begged for forgiveness to my parents, brothers and my relatives. It really makes me think that no matter what happens between a relationship, things will be okay if we could be more forgiving. That's the main point.



Today, I have no room for anymore food to go in my stomach as I ate until there's nothing to feed me. By the time I went to the 2nd house and eat, I was totally full. This year Hari Raya, the money collection was not really good because as you get older, the chances of you getting green packets are very thin. Don't put BIG HOPES yeah?. But it's okay, I'm still working. Haven't count the money that I earn today. But I surely will earn more if I visit my aunties houses.

A day with 5's instead of 7 and later 6..

Went out with Khai, Nina, Finah & Nad. Since it's been a long time we had a gathering so we decided to meet up and breakfast together. Actually wanted to eat at Nana Restaurant which is at Far East, but I was feeling tired and lazy so we decided to eat at Changi Airport Terminal 3 Secret Recipe.

Was kinda late to meet them as I was happily changing my clothes before meeting them. So went there and ordered. It's quite expensive but it's quite okay once in a while. I ordered "Beef Spaghetti Meatballs" and the rest I can't recall.

After we finished eating took some pictures and walked around Terminal 3. Make our way to Terminal 2. After which Fauzi joined us and headed to STARBUCKS as they wanted to get some drinks. Watched the Airplanes but, at that point of time there's not much left to see.

Fasting month is going to end soon and I somehow kinda feel sad because during this fasting month I don't feel so all over the place and instead i feel more peaceful. Hari Raya is coming soon and I'm still in Dilemma whether to buy "Baju Kurung" or not. Maybe yes, maybe no. Geylang is crowded with people at night.
